About the role

As Senior Project Manager of Store Design and Execution at Sheridan&Co, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of new store projects, as well as renovations and updates of existing locations.  You will work closely with our own internal teams along with local and international cross-functional vendors, and contractors, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of new store projects, from, cost engineering, construction documentation, and construction administration, for Sheridan&Co. clients globally.
  • Develop and manage project timelines and budgets and ensure that all projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, procurement, and operations, to ensure that all project requirements are met.
  • Source suppliers, and vendors, and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for Sheridan&Co and our clients.
  • Utilise knowledge of materials and cost engineering to make informed design decisions that balance design intent with cost constraints.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Manage the project path and costs to ensure that the job is closely monitored and stays profitable, maintaining the expectations from the client with the initial brief alongside protecting the margin.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, and negotiate contracts as needed.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that quality standards are being met.
  • Develop and implement store design standards and guidelines, in line with Sheridan&Co's ethos and principles.

About You

  • Must be based in and hold authorisation to work in the U.K
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in store design project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira or Asana.
  • Preferred experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, external suppliers, and contractors across UK, Europe, USA and Asia.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and practices within the luxury design industry.
  • Flexibility, to accommodate and support our international client base.
