An opportunity has arisen within our Head Office in Market Harborough for a Project Manager to join the team.

The role of Project Manager is to oversee and manage each project allocated to you in its entirety. The overall responsibility of managing the project path and timings lies with the Project Manager. The Project Manager must demonstrate excellent communication in all areas and establish good positive working relationships with all of their colleagues to ensure the projects run smoothly, on time and on budget.

The Project Manager must take each project through its full lifespan from the initial project meeting to completion. They must take responsibility for managing the project to completion, ensuring all aspects of design; development and product costing are adhered to, and delivered in time and within targeted budget.

They must show a strong style of written and verbal communication, both with the internal team and any third-party suppliers. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the fully interpreted brief from the Client via the Account Director/Manager and representing the client’s needs to the wider business and keeping the Account Manager fully informed throughout.

The Project Manager needs to be a highly organised individual. Responding to the Account Director/Manager is of paramount importance.

The role of Project Manager is vital within the Sheridan&Co business to act as an overarching manager of the Client’s projects and a pivotal part of the wider process. They must represent the company to a high standard at all times.

Retail experience is essential to this role.

This role will require travel to project sites and some out of hours working.

We are currently operating a hybrid working model and so this role will involve a mix of home-based days and days working from our Head Office in Market Harborough.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keeping the Account Director/Manager updated at all times
  • Set project timeline, keeping all internal contacts up to date of any changes to this and managing expectations throughout the project
  • Oversee project from initiation to completion, delivering it within time and budget
  • Monitor project deliverables
  • Keeping all internal and external documents/reports live and up to date

About You

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to manage time efficiently to deadlines
  • Develop strong working relationships with colleagues and suppliers
  • Experience within the retail industry is preferred
